WHY BECOME A MISHA MEMBER?

  • Concession towards registration fees for MISHA activities & tests developed by MISHA as specified from time to time
  • Resource materials of MISHA can be availed by the members after log in.
  • MISHA arranges knowledge events about current topics of interest, which helps MISHA members, keep abreast of advances in the field.
  • Most of the MISHA activities are recognized by RCI. Attending MISHA activities helps ASLPs to renew their RCI certificate.

Eligibility

  1. Life member – The applicant must hold a minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology from a recognized institute. The applicant is required to send attested photocopies of the degree certificate(s) along with the application form. Internship candidates should apply after successful completion of their internship. Post Graduate Students can apply for the life membership.
  2. Ordinary Member – Applicants who wish to pay on an annual basis.
  3. Associate member – Professional from allied health sciences and medical science may also apply for the MISHA membership. The applicant is required to send attested photocopies of the degree certificate(s) along with the application form. At the Annual General body Meeting (AGM), which is usually scheduled in first week of April every year, approves the applicant(s). The new members are then informed about their application status.
